Week 3 – Cute Little Garden Helpers

April 19, 2013 by SmartGirl 1 Comment

There was a sale on vegetable and herb plants at Home Depot for $2 each.  I’ve planted a lot of seeds in the past (direct sow, I never start them inside, lazy I guess), but seed packets aren’t cheap and how many zucchini plants do I need?  No more than 3.  Then I have a whole pack of seeds left.  Or for $2 I can get 3-5 seedlings in one container.  I was sold.  My daughter and her friend (I know they look like sisters) helped me plant the eggplant and peppers.  I LOVE eggplant!  I HATE peppers!!  But hubby likes them and I would do anything for the hubs.  Wink, wink.
