The knobs are the original glass ones and they are so nice! Worth the $35 all by themselves. I think you can see them better in this picture. Maybe not.
I picked up a “new” dresser for Smart Jr’s room, to replace this Craigslist dresser she gave to her sister. It was $30 and best of all, it was already turquoise. All SJ did was spray paint the knobs green. Read about her bedroom makeover here and here.
What else? Oh, this solid wood dresser was $30 and when I saw the picture on Craigslist I knew it would be perfect for storing tools in my garage. She probably deserves better, but she is providing a fantastic service and should be very proud of herself for that.
More on the garage re-organization can be found here.
And in case you’re wondering if all I do is buy… Of course not! I sold this antique feed bin online for $100. Actually, I never even listed it. I sold it to a lady who came to buy something else I had listed and she bought this too. Score! I probably could have got more, but I was just glad to get rid of it. It never worked for my intended purpose to store toys for the kids outside. It would get lots of water and bugs in it and was just gross. It was cool, it had hand-forged nails and all.
Pretty good deals, right?! Did you get any good deals recently? Apparently I am in the dresser buying mood. I actually bought a couple of others this summer that I didn’t show here. That’s kinda crazy now that I think about it!
lol – You have been busy buying up dressers. Good deals, indeed. I am currently refinishing something I got on Craigslist for $15.00. Yay!
