21 Free Nativity Printables

Please pin images from their original source OR re-pin from my Pinterst board.  Thanks!

Free Nativity Printables

Let’s just get these truly A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. printable nativities by Dieter at My Little House out there first.  He is a children’s book illustrator and paper engineer and he shares his awesome work for free on his website.  Dieter provides PDF files for The Nativity Story, Bible Town, The First Christmas – 3D Picture, AND a Christmas Pop-up Card.  Crazy cool, right?  BTW – he does accept donations through paypal.

This Popsicle Stick Nativity is a great one for the kids because it’s easy to make and fun to play with.  Check out Like a Pretty Petunia for all the details and a PDF.Popsicle Stick Nativity

The Happy Home Fairy has an ADORABLE set of cards for The 12 Days of Christmas.  Each card includes a poem and an image from the nativity.  Julie has included a printable PDF of both the cards and the images by themselves.  You could easily make something else from these adorable pictures. 12-days-cards-31

This set from Hart of the Mountain Studio is one of my favorites!  Although these are intended to be Printable Nativity Finger Puppets they are PERFECT for using on nativity blocks.  You can print the color version or black outline so you can color them yourself.  Cool! (Pin from here)

Oh no, wait, these Nativity Dolls are probably my favorite.  Thank you Babalisme for this design, it’s so freakin cute!  There’s also a background scene for the dolls to play in front of.

This Easy DIY Nativity Set from Pretty Prudent comes with a free printable designed for fabric.  Print, color with fabric paint and glitter {of course!}, then sew the pieces together.  These can be used as finger puppets, but they also stand up on their own. (Pin from here)

I used this printable from Bible Fun of Kids for my Sunday school class and had my 3-year-olds color in the pictures themselves.  Below is a picture of the pre-colored version.  I had my kids paste them to a piece of construction paper and then we attached a simple manger out of 4 popsicle sticks.  They loved it and it was super cute.  There is also a song about Baby Jesus included with this set, we glued that to the back of the paper.

Here’s something original… a Nativity Uno card set!  This and tons of other free printables are available at The Schoolhouse. Thank you Elaine!

These Nativity Finger Puppets from Craftaholics Anonymous are great for little kids to color in.  Again, you can use these cute images for other things besides just finger puppets! (Pin from here)

Amanda at The Pelsers: A Shelter for Your Heart has a Free Printable Christmas Nativity that I know my daughter would love.  You could laminate these and attach to popsicle sticks, glue on paper or use for wooden nativity blocks.  Directions are found at Homeschool Mosaics. It has the same images as above, but in a giant Free Nativity Pre-K Printable Pack?  It’s ginormous!  I don’t homeschool my kids, but I do teach Sunday school and this will be great.  Thank you to Meet Penny, I’ve liked your Facebook page and I’ll be back for more printable goodness! Nativity Preschool Printable Activity Pack - Over 30 activities for ages 2 and up.

Look at this super cute educational Preschool Nativity Pack from 1 + 1 + 1 = 1.  The images are adorable and there are several worksheets to go with it.  The entire package is FREE!  Woo hoo! (Pin from here)

How awesome is this DIY: Make your own nativity set?  Just print and make.  It’s totally free, but definitely worth a small donation to the creator Marloes de Vries.  You can print it pre-colored or in black outline, so you can have the kids color it themselves.  So cute!

Prepared NOT Scared!  has a PDF set which can be printed and used to make puppets as well as a Silent Night Memory Game with different images.

How about a Refrigerator Nativity Set?  Directions and PDF courtesy of Kid Eats.

I like the images on these Nativity Finger Puppets courtesy of Activity Village.

If you’re looking to spend a bit of time on your nativity scene, you can try making one out of felt like this beautifully detailed Felt Nativity Story from Sarah at Stay at Home Educator.  She’s graciously included a copy of all her patterns. (Pin from here)

Last, but not least, this simple Build Your Own Nativity with PDF from This Simple Home. (Pin from here)

Their coolest offering, I think, is the peg dolls in the Oh Holy Night Nativity, although you do have to buy the pegs elsewhere.

If you’re still awake, here’s a bonus… It’s not a printable, but a tutorial from No Time for Flashcards for a super cute Nativity Sun Catcher that teaches shapes.  I think I’ll do this next year! (Pin from here)

Thank you so much for sharing my Nativity UNO!! That’s a favorite of mine. It was really fun doing a Nativity-a-Day, but don’t know if I could ever do it again….a lot of work and time. LOL
